Erin and JR Garrett's profile

Well this is actually about us. We are one year into marriage and have a wonderful 6 year old son named Malachi. We are also now expecting our second child who should make his or her entrance into this world in April. We both currently work for an electrical contractor that is also a good friend I work in the office and JR works all around Atlanta doing ......well electrical. JR was born in Oregon were he spent his first like 9 years I think then his mother and stepfather moved to dekalb were he attended Clarkston high school then moved to Snellville where he went to North Gwinnett. I was Born in Miami were I stayed for only the first 3 years of my life before my parents divorced and I moved to Lawrenceville with my mother. JR stayed in Oregon in the summers as I spent mine in Miami. He was into dirt bikes and four wheelers and I was able to sail to many places at a young age. While he was camping, I was diving and fishng in and around the keys. My final 2 summers we took a month long trip to the Abacos (group of islands in the Bahamas). But I did get my fair share of country stuff to both sets of my grandparents lived in north Georgia. My Grandparents on my fathers side had horses to ride and plenty of land to shot, fish and hike on. Both of us had crazy teen and young 20's years though we never meet we hung out in some of the same clicks and did the same stuff I peaked at my very bad stage before him and thankfully the Lord gave me Malachi to pull me out of my addictions. Unfortunetly it took a little bit of police work to get JR out of his. We have gone through alot together and I believe that if the Lord put us together any sooner than he did or later than he did we would have never made it. But we are very happy to have each other and our family.

JR- He likes to build, wire, fix, improve, just basically challenge himself. He is also right now in to his four wheeler and his '68 Camaro that he has had since he was 17. The Camaro is right know getting free paint and body at Lanier tech and he can't wait to get it home to start work on it. he is a guys guys minus the game watching and poker playing.

Erin- I like hanging with friends, camping, hiking and having fun with my family. I also like to build things and challenge myself with things girls aren't supposed to know how to do. I also enjoy entertaining, but have a problem leting go of that once guests arrive (I need to work on that). I enjoy cooking a meal for friends or having a camp fire ion the back yard. I also like to see my family having fun together.

Malachi- He like just about anything. He is in tee-ball right now but also wants to do football next year. He does well in school and is the youngest in his class. he loves the things God has made he hates seeing trees cut down and land cleared for development. He also has a great intreset in builing while it is just legos now we are sure he will take after us in the future.
